The BBC Ice Cream x Reebok Answer 5 Malibu Blue is a follow-up to the ComplexCon exclusive variation that was released late last year. The early 2000s basketball silhouette is given a playful colour-blocked treatment courtesy of Billionaire Boys Club Ice Cream, the NYC-based brand founded by Pharrell Williams and Nigo of BAPE fame.
The label is famed for vibrant designs and bright colours, with this being apparent in the blue, purple and yellow colorway seen here. The uppers are crafted from supple suede panels and then characterised with leather overlays, with all materials being premium to honour the importance of this collaborative project. The label’s signature logo can be found embellished onto the side, while a rubber hang tag also comes with the pair that can be removed if desired.
