JJJJound x ROA Hiking Boot Black

Montreal-based Studio JJJJound adds another strong brand to its résumé with this upcoming ROA collaboration. While the Italian-based shoe brand may be small compared to the likes of ASICS and New Balance, it takes pride in creating its take on innovative outdoor footwear. Founded in 2015, ROA has continued to push what they describe as a “hybrid attitude towards the landscape”, and now with JJJJound by its side, the extended reach of this partnership will only spread its message further.

In true JJJJound style, the upper on this Andreas Strap boot is coated in black, sparing the 3M heel panel at the back. The rugged features found on regular editions are present, including the Vibram Megagrip toothed tread pattern sole and black metal hooks that provide terrain-ready lockdown. ROA’s crumbling waypoint logo can be located on the front toe guard as per usual, with a JJJJound spell-out printed onto the sidewall in white. Given that ROA’s footwear is usually made in Italy and JJJJound’s emphasis on quality products, you can rest assured knowing that the same level of premium tooling has been considered for the upcoming collaboration.

There’s still only restricted information on the release, so make sure to keep it tuned into The Sole Supplier where we can update with you more specific construction details and a drop date for the JJJJound x ROA Hiking Boot!
