Salomon introduces a limited-edition XT-4 colourway with seven-time Grammy-nominated Colombian singer and songwriter Salomón Villada Hoyos, popularly known as Feid. The Medellin-born and raised musician is the latest ambassador to join the Annecy-based outdoor brand’s roster, helping elevate Gorpcore towards the Latin American region. The Feid x Salomon XT-4 “Volt Black” presents a vibrant colour palette, a nod to the pop singer’s distinct adaptation of reggaeton music and his Colombian roots.
This iteration showcases a black mesh upper with volt green TPU overlays wrapped around the sidewalls. Bright red accents highlight the toe cap, matching the heel panel and nylon eyestays. A “Salomon MOR” label adorns the forefoot, a Colombian slang and a reference to the singer’s third studio album Ferxxo (Vol 1: M.O.R), meaning “messages on repeat”. The “FXXOMOR” branding decorates the rear, a wordplay on his nickname. Trademark logos embellish the tongue and sockliners, whilst signature technologies like the Quicklace system and Agile Chassis Skeleton remain in place. The dual-density EVA foam midsole delivers plush, stable cushioning underfoot, propped up by a multicolour Contagrip outsole.
