If we could cop only one shoe this year, it would probably be the Off-White x Air Jordan 4 "Bred". The sequel to 2020's legendary "Sail" which pretty much broke the internet, this colourway was first spotted all the way back in 2019 during Virgil Abloh's Figures Of Speech exhibition at MCA Chicago. While we've only seen blurry leaks since, we're now taking our closest look yet!
Featuring the same material construction as the aforementioned "Sail", Abloh's next Air Jordan 4 is as stealthy as it gets. Based off the iconic colourway, the upper is crafted from a combination of premium leather, buttery suede, and ripstop fabric, coming together to create the perfect juxtaposition of textures.
Semi-translucent rubber, frayed edges, and quoted text result in the ultimate deconstructed look, while Nike branding at the heel gives the shoe the OG look that we all know and love.
Underfoot, you'll find a cream-hued Air midsole that's as comfortable as it gets, and of course, it wouldn't be an Off-White collaboration without the addition of the zip-tie that's dipped here in a glossy piano black tone, finalising the design.
Rumoured to be releasing as part of "THE 20" collection, the Off-White x Nike Air Jordan 4 "Bred" will land sometime this autumn. Let us know what you think of this ultra hyped collab, and while you're here, you might as well take a detailed look at the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 "Canary Yellow"!
