This is it, chief. After teasing it at his "Figures Of Speech" exhibition at MCA Chicago back in 2019, Virgil Abloh's long-awaited Off-White x Air Jordan 1 "Canary Yellow" has finally been confirmed for 2021. Recently unveiled via the Public Domain microsite, OW's fourth take on the AJ1 is no doubt one of the most hyped collaborations of the year, and as we gear up for a worldwide release, we're now taking a detailed look!
Abloh's latest and greatest Air Jordan 1 since the "UNC" from 2018, the "Canary Yellow" is everything we dreamed of and so much more. Working on a crisp white leather base, bold yellow accents make their way towards the toebox, heel, and eyelets for a pop of contrast that is sure to turn heads.
Signature deconstructed elements come by the way of a detached Nike Swoosh, iconic "AIR" branding, an exposed foam tongue, and of course, a glossy black zip-tie that has now become synonymous to the Milan-based fashion house.
Of course, you can't talk about the "Canary Yellow" without mentioning the quoted text on the shoelaces and the visible orange and blue stitching throughout the model that adds an additional pop of colour. To round it all off, the Air Jordan winged basketball finely adorns the Off-White shoe's collar, finalising the truly legendary design.
Pretty much nothing else is known about the Off-White x Nike Air Jordan 1 High OG "Canary Yellow" at this moment in time, but it's definitely going to drop sometime this year. Make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for your best chance to cop, and in related news, the Off-White x Nike "THE 20" Collection is coming very soon! 2021 is going to be absolutely insane for sneakers!
