A Closer Look at the adidas x Balenciaga Triple S

Back in March, we took our very first look at the adidas x Balenciaga Triple S. While many of you suspected that these were fakes, more and more legitimate sources are beginning to offer closer looks at the coveted collaboration. After teaming up with Prada and Gucci, the Parisian fashion house is naturally the next step for the Three Stripes, and here's everything that we know so far.

Arriving in a clean "Cloud White" colourway, adidas' take on the infamous Triple S retains the overall design of the OG, but with a few tweaks here and there. "Core Black" Three Stripe branding shoots across the lateral and medial side panels, similar to what you'd find on classic adi silhouettes like the Superstar, and around the back you'll see an oversized pull tab and a co-branded Trefoil logo.

Of course, you can't talk about this sneaker without mentioning the triple stacked midsole that's inspired by three different sports, all piled on top of each other. This is a signature Balenciaga design that has remained unchanged since its debut in 2017, and it's still causing controversy even five years later.

Not much else is known about the Balenciaga x adidas Triple S at this moment in time, but if it's anything like the Gucci x Balenciaga Triple S then we can expect these to be extremely limited.
