In a comment underneath the 'beauty shots' of the Air Jordan 36 PE on Melody Ehsani's Instagram account, Aleali May recalls ME being the "1st woman on the block Fairfax days". Any time Melody collaborates with the Jordan Brand, we're reminded that she paved the way for not only women and sneakers, but women in basketball, too. Now the creative director at Foot Locker, Ehsani is continuing to prove that a woman's influence on the scene is most definitely required, and that girls should get involved and not shy away from the male-dominated industry.
Her most recent venture with the Jordan Brand is a loud, snakeskin-decorated Air Jordan 36. Unfortunately at this time, the pair is only a player exclusive. They were debuted by Jason Tatum during the NBA Finals and it's safe to say they certainly made an impact! That being said, she did note on IG that she hoped "the next round would be for everyone".

Despite being made for the hardwood, Ehsani did not shy away from a luxurious, eye-catching design. The upper of this AJ36 is completely covered in snakeskin print in a variety of colours, including brown, blue and yellow. On the lace unit, two metallic dubraes are interweaved into the snakeskin laces, whilst 'ME' sits at the top of the cushioned tongue in a black print. Matching to this, the translucent outsole shows off Hamsa hands, a symbol of protection, whilst the inside reads "we stand on the shoulders of greats". Melody shared that she has been slowly working her way up to "having the opportunity to work on a performance shoe" and it must be said that she didn't waste that opportunity.
These have to be some of our favourite Air Jordans of Melody's so far, despite them being PE.
