Nothing says summer like a pair of fresh Jordan 1s, and when it comes to our fave colourways, UNC-inspired palettes are always at the top of our list. Kicking things off for the warmer months ahead is the new Air Jordan 1 Low “University Blue Black,” and it’s set to drop in adult’s and Grade School-sizing later this year.
Arriving in the University of North Carolina’s famed “Powder Blue,” white and black colour palette, the “UNC” Air Jordan 1 Low is set to become an instant classic. The pair features “Black Toe” style colour blocking, so it’s the darkest hue that wraps its way around the forefoot, leaving a bright white base to peek out from the toe box and sidewalls, before giving way to a black Nike Swoosh that shoots across the sneaker.
Black tongues, laces and liners match the black Jordan Wings branding at the heel tab, whereas the “Powder Blue” hue takes over the heels and tongue tab branding. The blue also peeps out from underneath the white midsole unit thanks to a blue-toned rubber outsole, which rounds off the AJ1 Low's UNC-inspired colourway perfectly.
The Jordan 1 Low “University Blue Black” is set to drop as part of Jordan Brand’s summer line-up in July this year, so be sure to hit the links and set your release reminders nice and early for your best chance of copping a pair!
Up next, two new yellow and black Jordan 1s are on the way.
