Pastel-hued sneakers are a favourite of ours here at The Sole Supplier, with one of our all-time favourites being the legendary Nike Air Force 1 Shadow Pastel from last June. Moving on from the past and into the present, however, for spring 2021 there has been so much pastel goodness unveiled that we are desperate to grace our rotations with.
Whether you are a hard-core Air Jordan 1 sneakerhead, or a fan of the more girly iterations of the ever-popular Nike Air Force 1 Shadow, we can guarantee there is something releasing in the coming months that you will want to secure for your shoedrobe. And ICYMI, 2021 is most certainly the year of the Dunk, so Nike is providing us with more of what everyone has been asking for, only this time in pretty, pale, Easter-inspired colourways.
First up is the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 'Easter', a pretty, pastel colourway of the Zoom Comfort that is broken up by a starkly-contrasting black lace unit, cut-out Nike Swooshes on the medial and lateral sidewalls, and Wings insignia on the ankle panels. Constructed from both smooth and tumbled leather, as well as mesh, this is an AJ1 packed with personality.
Next up, it was recently unveiled that three more Dunks would be gracing our airwaves and causing us to manifest a W more than ever. With one shoe in the following Nike Dunk Low 'Pastel/Multi' dressed in a pretty 'Soft Pink' colourway, mismatching to the lilac, blue and light-green hues used across the other shoe, there is no arguing that this pastel Nike Dunk will be one to cop when it releases. Both shoes are complete with a sunshine-yellow outsole and a crisp-white lace unit, and despite all the colour, this is an extremely clean sneaker.
Following on from the pastel iteration above, the Nike Dunk Low 'Green Glow' takes a neon, mint hue combined with smooth, white leather across this Dunk's upper to create a colour-blocked dream. For those of us who prefer a more monochrome, understated sneaker, the Nike Dunk Low 'Photon Dust/Grey' is the perfect, lightly-coloured sneaker for spring. Similar to the Dunks, this Air Jordan 1 Low SE Arctic Punch is dressed in a colour-blocked, pink and purple palette, showing off the rubber outsole and Nike Swooshes in an adorable lilac. This Swoosh matches to the top of the tongue on this AJ1 Low, where the legendary Michael Jordan 'Jumpman' logo sits, and the ankle cushioning contrasts subtly against the soft-pink panelling and smooth-leather, white upper and clean lace unit.
Those early spring days are when we start to hear the tingle of the ice-cream van as we picnic in the park. The Air Jordan 12 'Ice Cream' is a grade-school version of the Jordan Brand's 12 edition J, dressed in crisp-white, arctic pink and hyper-pink hues.
Perhaps that's too much pink for you... and that's fine! Nike are providing those beloved Easter tones on the Air Max 2090 as well! Only this time, lilac, green and coral hues grace the mesh upper, whilst the exposed Air unit is surrounded by a musky purple colour.
Finally, the last sneaker in our pastel round up is the Nike Air Force 1 Shadow Barely Green/Crimson Tint. One of the cutest colour palettes to adorn this AF1 silhouette, light shades of coral pink and mint sit comfortably across the entirely of this Air Force's upper. Vintage, sail tones dress the lace unit, perforated toe box and midsole, making this Air Force 1 Shadow all the more attractive.
We absolutely cannot wait for all of these sneakers to be released. Meanwhile, get dreaming about what outfits you'll pair all of these cuties with and let us know over on IG what you're hoping to add to your rotation this spring!
