A Closer Look At The Nike Dunk Low 'Free 99'

As if we didn't already have enough Dunk heat to look forward to in 2021, Nike have added two more additions in the form of the Nike Dunk Low 'Free 99' pack. Coming in two mismatch colourways, there's plenty of choice on how to add a splash of colour to your rotation this year. And with both shoes in each iteration differing from each other, there's loads of personality in this Dunk Low pack.

Instagram sneaker insider, @yankeekicks, gave us our first look at these Dunks by releasing on-foot imagery of the Nike Dunk Low Free 99 "Asymmetric/Black/Multi" for us to take a peek at. Now official images have emerged giving us a closer look at this pastel-hued pair.

This iteration sports a predominantly black upper, with a Swoosh on the lateral and medial sidewalls and a lace unit to match, atop a white midsole and a gum, rubber outsole. Further rainbow colouring can be found in the form of neon green, pink, blue, and yellow.

Below, we can take a look at the released images of the other Dunk Low Free 99 colourway release, namely "Asymmetric/White/Multi". Originally set to be released in a fur-covered design, these Nike Dunks will now arrive constructed from the smooth leather sneakerheads know and love.

Again, mismatched coloured panels dress the sneaker, only this time in blue, green, red, and yellow atop a white, leather upper. The Swooshes on either sidewall are presented in dark brown, corresponding nicely to the gum sole.

First released back in 1985, the Dunk is as popular as ever, especially in these old school, colour-block designs.
