October is set to be one of the biggest months for sneaker releases, with a number of new GR's dropping throughout the month as well as a selection of high heat drops that you don't want to miss. With so many must-cop sneakers releasing, we've rounded up our top picks for October. Set your alarms and reminders because many of these upcoming shoes are sure to be instant sell-outs.
The first sneakers releasing this month are the Air Jordan 1 High OG Lucky Green and the Air Jordan 1 Mid SE 'Sisterhood'. The Lucky Green Air Jordan 1 is a brand new colourway from the Jordan brand that's set to arrive in both women's and kids sizes. The colourway takes inspiration from Micahel Jordan's famous play-off game in Boston, with bold Lucky Green leather overlays and a touch of red across the collar.
The Game Royal Jordan 1 Mid SE puts a unique spin on the best-selling silhouette, with chunky lacing looped through the panels across the upper. The world-famous Nike logo that sits centrally on the tongue has been updated with a two-tone look to match the blue, white and black upper. You can cop both AJ1s on the 15th at select retailers.
Two of the hottest GR's to be unveiled in recent months has to be these two upcoming Nike Air Force 1 LXXs, arriving in two contrasting colourways, White/University Red/Game Royal and White/Pink Rise/Bleached Aqua. Both shoes immediately caught our eye with the deconstructed look and vibrant pops of colour. You can cop the Nike Air Force 1 LXX White/Pink and White/Blue on the 17th October.
Another unmissable GR arriving on the 24th October is the Nike Air Force 1 Fur Tongue. This ultra-clean looking sneaker updates the OG AF1 design with a faux fur tongue and a neutral colour palette. A touch of lime green brightens up the branding on the heel whilst keeping the rest of the shoe minimal in white with Light Bone leather overlays.
One of the most talked-about sneakers rumoured to be arriving on the 31st October is the Nike Air Jordan 1 Dark Mocha, however, there could be a slight delay with this shoe moving to a November release. We're feeling the Travis Scott vibes with the creamy coloured upper that's accented with dark brown leather wrapping around the heel and collar. Black Swooshes and black leather overlays finalise the design and add to the Travis Scott Jordan 1 look. This is going to be one of the hardest sneakers to cop this season, with the huge hype that's already built up around it in the last few weeks since it was unveiled.
Also set to release on the 31st October is the Nike Dunk Disrupt in the monochrome Black/White colourway. This silhouette reimagines the classic Dunk and puts a playful, chunky twist on the OG design with an elevated midsole and reworked details. Previous colourways sold out multiple times, so there's no doubt this black and white Dunk Disrupt will follow suit. Stay tuned to The Sole Supplier for the latest release updates and to find out which retailers will be stocking this sneaker.
If you're a Yeezy fan then don't worry, there's also the Yeezy Boost 380 Calcite Glow expected to drop on the 31st October at select retailers including adidas.com. This crazy sneaker features a glow-in-the-dark upper that lights up. In the light, the triple white and grey coloured upper looks clean with the cream coloured midsole.
