Fresh off the back of the news that Virgil Abloh will be releasing two variations of the Air Jordan 2, news just in is claiming that Union LA will also be working on the silhouette next year. AJ2s have been out of production for several years now, although it seems that the model is going to make a widespread comeback including GR models throughout 2022. First introduced back in 1986, the Air Jordan 2 was designed by Bruce Kilgore and Peter Moore and was inspired by high-end luxury sneakers.
While it was somewhat popular with fans and has since developed a cult following, Michael Jordan himself wasn’t actually a huge fan of the AJ2. It was only when Tinker Hatfield created the Air Jordan 3 that MJ knew his future was with the Swoosh. It's rumoured that two colourways will drop, titled "Grey Fog/Siren Red" and "Rattan/Siren Red". As of yet, we’ve got no further details regarding the launch of a Union LA x Air Jordan 2, but make sure to keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest updates and so much more, like your first look at the Air Jordan 1 High 1985 “Georgetown”!
