4/20 is a date that’s managed to hit legendary status within the sneaker world, as each year brands mark the unofficial holiday with a slew of themed releases. This year, adidas has chosen to mark the cannabis harvest season with its Campus 80 model, introducing a pair that comes with tearaway uppers in line with the theme.
The adidas Campus 80s "Croptober" starts off with an earthy-brown, papery-textured upper that comes complete with creases in order to represent wrapping paper. Tear this off, however, and you’ll quickly be presented with a rich, green suede. The grassy hue covers the entirety of this lower layer, with the 3-Stripes branding on the sidewalls and heel tab taking on a tonal green shade. Peeping at the inner lining you’ll notice a tie-dye style print, and to finish a textured gum sole adds to the smokey styling.
