K-pop supergroup BLACKPINK has been making waves in both the music and fashion scenes for the past couple of years, and its latest appearance sees the members star in adidas’ new campaign. While each member is signed to a major fashion house, the girls have also been tapped by the German giant to showcase its adidas Originals line, sparking rumours that a collab could well be on the way.
First appearing on the adidas Originals Korea Instagram account, the campaign sees Jennie, Lisa, Rosé and Jisoo sporting adidas Campus 00s, Forums and Superstars, while wearing a selection of the brand’s clothing. The group’s die-hard fan base has since speculated that a collaboration could follow - a move which given the group’s fanbase, could easily help the 3-Stripes recoup some losses from the end of its partnership with Kanye West.
As it stands, this is currently all speculation, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see the brand tap into some of BLACKPINK’s star power later down the line.
Is this a collab you’d like to see unfold? Let us know, and in the meantime, here’s the latest on adidas’ Yeezy drama.
