For what's primarily an apparel company, Aimé Leon Dore doesn't half produce some great footwear collaborations. With Teddy Santis at the helm, the surging New York brand has delivered a number of New Balance silhouettes in recent times, but now it's turning its attention back to an NYC icon. In collaboration with Timberland, the duo have reconnected for a trio of colourways of the 3-Eye Lug Boat Shoes.
Fans of Aimé Leon Dore might remember when the brand tapped Timberland in 2018 for a pair of the 7-Eye Lug Boots and again in 2021 for their first take on the 3-Eye Lug Boat Shoes, so it's safe to say there's already some history between the duo. This latest collab sees 3 unique hues grace the classic 1978-born silhouette. "Grape Leaf," "Sleek White," and "Black" all arrive with contrasting stitching found around the model.
Each piece also arrives complete with a distinctive brown rubber lug sole and golden eyelets featured throughout. Branding has been kept to a minimum, with a subtle debossed version of the Timberland logo seen on the lateral walls. For those looking to get their hands on this new Aimé Leon Dore x Timberland collaboration, it is currently available on ALD's website for purchase. In other footwear news, a further glimpse at the upcoming adidas x Fear of God collaboration is here.
