Are you already anticipating the next wave of Air Jordan releases? Well, we’ve got another one to add to your wishlist. @Zsneakerheadz has revealed that a revived take on the iconic “UNC Reimagined” Jordan 1 High OG is hitting the shelves in summer 2025.
The last time we saw a retro of the Air Jordan 1 High OG “UNC” was in 2015, almost a decade ago. Of course, there was also the elusive Off-White x AJ1 “UNC” that some of you may have been lucky to grab back in 2018, although we know that for most, that shoe will remain a grail for years to come. This time, the sneakers will showcase the original 1985 “Dark Powder Blue” colourway, but with an unspecified “twist.” Details are still under wraps, so whether it’s a pre-yellowed midsole or cracked leather around the ankle collar, we can’t wait to see how this classic will be reinterpreted.
As Air Jordan marks its 40th anniversary in 2025, the year is poised to be a celebration for the ages. With a huge variety of upcoming heat, all leads point towards 2025 being the most exciting year for Jordan Brand in over two decades. We know that may seem like ages away, but there’s no need to fret for your fresh pair of trainers as both Reimagined versions of the Air Jordan 1 High OG "Black Toe" and Air Jordan 3 "Black Cement" are releasing later this year.
