Back in 2004, Nike curiously teamed up with Sanrio for the Hello Kitty x Nike Air Presto. While this definitely isn't the weirdest Air Presto ever made, sources tell us that the duo are looking to resume their kawaii collab very soon - and here's everything that we know so far!
There's no official images yet of the upcoming HK Air Presto, but rumours suggest that it will look a lot like the 2004 pair which is pictured in this article. Designed by the legendary Steven Smith who currently heads Yeezy’s design division, the OG boasts a white neoprene upper with everyone's favourite friendly feline peppered throughout.
If you've never seen or even heard of the Hello Kitty x Nike collab, we wouldn't be that surprised. Originally it was meant to drop in four colourways with 500 pairs each. However, this was later reduced to just 12 pairs each and was handed out to friends and family members only, so if you see a pair in the wild then it's your lucky day.
Rumour has it that the upcoming Hello Kitty x Nike Air Presto will drop sometime this year, but due to the pandemic it could potentially be pushed until early next year. Let us know what you think of this upcoming collaboration, and while you're here, you might as well peep a close up look at the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 "Wheat"!
