Artist and designer Ava Nirui has debuted a new rendition based on the brand's "Metallic Gold"; colourway and it's an opulent street style essential.

Nirui boasted that this pair is adorned in an astonishing 50,000 Swarovski crystals on her Instagram account, which qualifies them as the perfect silhouette for Christmas.

Sparkling in the light, Nirui pairs her ostentatious sneakers with statement red trousers to match the crimson Swoosh.

It's unclear whether the "Metallic Gold"; Swarovski Air Max 97 will receive an official release, but here's hoping that we will hear more soon.
