BAPE and Vans Join Forces Once Again to Work on the Old Skool and Sk8-Hi

Japanese streetwear imprint BAPE (or A Bathing Ape) is absolutely no stranger to a collaboration, teaming up with some of the biggest names in the industry over the years. For it’s latest effort, the brand is joining forces with none other than Vans to launch two exclusive footwear models and a whole range of apparel. Both the BAPE x Vans Old Skool 36 DX “Green” and then BAPE x Vans Sk8-Hi 38 DX “Multi” are decked out with the label’s famous ape-head camouflage and will no doubt blend seamlessly into your rotation.

First up is the Old Skool, one of the Californian labels most-loved silhouettes, and here it’s seen in a classic military green colourway, with branding coming in the form of the iconic jazz stripe logo and BAPE’s ape-head motif. Padding is located around the ankles and a rubberised midsole also showcases a hint of red at the heel to add another layer into the look.

Next we turn our attention to the Sk8-Hi, which instead opts for a vibrant mix of yellow, blue, green and purple, with both camouflage and checkerboard patterns contrasting each other, playing on both brand’s signature patterns. Vans branding is present and the tongues and heels and white laces round off the look, making these a suitable option to complete any outfit you might have in mind.
