The Nike Air Force has been treated to plenty of different outfits over the years, however Nike’s latest effort offers up a stand-out look that certainly isn’t minimalistic. Titled the Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Copy Paste”, this pair plays on Nike’s signature motifs and branding that have been influential in making the label the global sensation that it is today.
Decked out in a neutral grey colour scheme, the classic silhouette that was introduced by Bruce Kilgore in 1982 is present as ever, although it’s got a few new tricks up its sleeve. The uppers are completely crafted from premium leather, with panelling staying true to the original design. Nike’s signature Swoosh logo is placed in the lateral and medial sides in the conventional location, however it’s also featured again in an enlarged version across the toe box and forefoot.
The AF1 Mid’s signature ankle strap also makes an appearance, while if we turn our attention to the medial side, Nike block letter branding is attached in white leather, once again playing on the overtly-branded look. The grey uppers sit neatly on an aged-white midsole that of course conceals full-length Nike Air cushioning, making these a comfortable choice for everyday wear.
If you’re eyeing up this obnoxious take on the Air Force 1 already, then you’ll have to keep it locked here for further details, as so far there’s no confirmed release date for this pair, although we can expect to see them arrive at retailers in the coming months. Stay tuned at The Sole Supplier for all the latest and while you’re here check out the latest regarding Drake’s rumoured AF1 release!
