Set to arrive at select skate shops and the Nike SNKRS app very soon, the Nike SB Dunk Low “Wasted Youth” is the latest sneaker to launch as part of an ongoing collaboration between the Swoosh brand and Japanese designer Verdy. The duo have worked together previously on the SB Dunk “Girls Don’t Cry” which was incredibly well-received, with this follow-up expected to sell out instantly.
The pair take on a seemingly gothic appearance, with the predominantly black upper accentuated with hits of red, white and silver-tone metal. Rose embroidery is located on the medial sides sitting next to the classic Swoosh logo, while embroidered Wasted Youth branding is present on the heel tabs and also printed onto the insoles.
Seen here on official Nike SB campaign imagery, the brand is encouraging those who can cop the sneakers to customise them by cutting off the Swoosh logo to reveal white stitching underneath. This type of customisation is nothing new in the sneaker world, but how would you feel about taking a knife to your latest pair of kicks?
If you’re looking to cop the Verdy x Nike SB Dunk Low “Wasted Youth”, the good news is that raffles are now starting to open at select skate shops, so make sure to visit our dedicated product page in order to find out how you can cop. In the meantime, keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier and be sure to check out the upcoming Air Jordan 1 High “Pollen”!
