The Nike Air Max 1 has long since been a favourite silhouette for plenty of sneakerheads, holding legendary status since its inception in 1987. Designed by none other than Tinker Hatfield, the model remains well-loved today and still has a cult following across the world. While the design hasn’t changed too much over the years, plenty of fans have complained regarding the apparent shrinkage of the visible Air Max unit, and now Nike has finally listened to the fans and is reintroducing the original “Big Bubble”. We’ve got a first look at the Nike Air Max 1 Big Bubble “Black” right here at The Sole Supplier.
Decked out in a stealthy-looking black and grey colourway, the sneakers showcase all the classic features that resonate with sneakerheads and most importantly they bring back the enlarged Air unit under the heel, giving the pair an all-round retro feel. While we don’t know too much else just yet, it seems that these are set for a release later on this year, along with other colourways too. If you’re looking to get your hands on them then make sure to keep it locked in right here for all the latest and while you are here, take a look at the brand-new Nike Air Max 1 “3/26” that’s set to drop this month!
