Classic Meets Contemporary With the Nike Overbreak

Even though the ISPA OverReact is barely a month old, it looks like it's already about to make some waves with the upcoming Nike Overbreak. Combining the classic with the contemporary, this hybrid silhouette takes on the iconic Daybreak shoe that we all know and love.

With buttery smooth tan suede uppers and "Starfish" accents along the heel and Swoosh, the Overbreak gives off some serious "Mars Yard" vibes. Thick rope laces give the shoe a tough and rugged aesthetic, while visible stitching throughout results in a DIY-esque design that's all the rage these days.

Of course, you can't talk about this Nike shoe without mentioning that insanely chunky midsole. Crafted from React foam, it uses data taken from geometries of past React silhouettes such as the React Element 87 and fine tunes them to the natural movement of the foot. Not only does this provide wearers with a crazy amount of comfort, bulk and weight has also been drastically reduced as well.

Not much else is known about the Nike Overbreak at this moment in time, though rumour has it that they'll arrive at the end of this year.
