Step Into the Future With the UNDERCOVER x Nike ISPA OverReact

Back in January, Jun Takahashi reunited with the Swoosh for an Air React Presto collab which blew everything out of the water. Giving the lifestyle silhouette a futuristic makeover, it looks like the Japanese icon will be replicating this winning formula with the upcoming UNDERCOVER x Nike ISPA OverReact - and we're now taking our first look!

First spotted in UNDERCOVER's Spring/Summer 2021 lookbook, the collaboration builds on the brand new OverReact silhouette which just made its debut last week. Offered in four tonal colourways, each one is crafted from a mesh and suede combination while a stippled lacing system adds depth to the look. Takahashi's signature rose motif is finely embroidered atop the Nike Swoosh, while "CHAO/BALANCE" text adorns the toe box in a clean serif font.

Of course, you can't talk about this collab without mentioning that extra chunky midsole underfoot. Using data taken from geometries of past React silhouettes like the React Element 87, the unit has been fine tuned to the natural movement on the foot, resulting in the optimum amount of cushioning with minimal bulk.
