Japanese fashion heavyweights COMME des GARÇONS and BAPE have once again found themselves on another collision course. Building upon a rich collaborative history, the duo have now readied a concise collection of warm-weather-ready apparel, ready to equip us for the summer months ahead.
Tie-dye is the name of the game when it comes to this collaborative effort, as we see bright prints grace relaxed silhouettes. The range itself is comprised of tees, shirts, bags, shorts, belts, bucket hats and even chains, each arriving with an array of co-signed signatures and motifs. Leading the selection is a matching tie-dye shirt and bucket hat combination. Both flaunt a bright purple and white tie-dye pattern, contrasted by yellow text imprints and the BAPE APE insignia.
Elsewhere, two of the T-Shirts don a duo of aqua-themed tie-dye prints. Shades of cyan and deep turquoise are both contrasted by a light white tint. Other co-branded t-shirts feature the Baby Milo moniker and a faux chain graphic, delivering a classic BAPE aesthetic. For those looking to get their hands on this upcoming collaboration, it will release on the 22nd of April via a pre-entry lottery system online at the BAPE and COMME des GARÇONS Osaka stores. In other fashion news, Prada continues its reign as "World's hottest brand."
