Clog season is officially upon us. With Kanye West dropping more Foam Runners than ever and Crocs teaming up with industry icons such as Jeff Staple and Salehe Bembury, Birkenstock are set to jump on the hype as well. After teasing a collaboration with Dior earlier this season, it looks like the German shoe company might be partnering up with Chrome Hearts for a Birkenstock x Chrome Hearts collaboration - and here's everything that we know so far!
Unveiled by graffiti artist Matty Boy, the never-before-seen shoe features an all-white calf skin construction that's as premium as it gets. A soft suede footbed offers a crazy comfortable fit, while a silver buckle can be found along the top of the slide as well, complete with Chrome Hearts' signature cross symbol that's done up in their iconic gothic aesthetic.
Matty Boy adds a pop of contrast to the otherwise minimalist sneaker by scrawling a 3D spiderweb illustration on the vamp followed by the word "HELP" in a bold purple hue, finalising the design.
Being a close friend of the Los Angeles-based jewellery brand, it wouldn't be that surprising if Matty B was holding the upcoming Chrome Hearts x Birkenstock collab in his hands. Not much else is known about this rumour partnership at this moment in time, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops! Let us know if you'd cop, and while you're here, you might as well get up close with the ultra rare Chrome Hearts x Off-White x Air Jordan 1 High "UNC"!
