With the " Rush Maroon " now finally announced, Patta has officially ended their coveted AM1 collaboration for 2021. Well, that's what they want you to think anyway. Taking a look at the teaser image from the Dutch streetwear and sneaker boutique themselves, if you look closely you'll actually spot the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 "Black" along the top left corner - and here's what we know so far.
Rumour has it that the "Black" was never meant to see the light of day, but Patta founders Edson Sabajo and Guillaume Schmidt saw the reception that the other three received so they decided to launch it anyway. While images have yet to be unveiled, you can see from the teaser shot that it features a crisp white mesh base with a wavy black suede mudguard surrounding the Air Max 1 and a clean cream Nike Air midsole underfoot. Sneakerhead Simon Steenberg created a mock-up on Instagram to show what the colourway might look like, and if these actually do drop we think it will probably the best colourway yet.
