With the rumour that the next Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 release could be the last, Jordan Brand will undoubtedly look to fill a hole over the next year. Since joining forces with the artist, Jordan (and Nike) have taken their earth-toned and “Mocha” colourways to new levels of desirability no matter the silhouette, with even GR releases selling out time and time again and going for double their retail prices on the secondary markets.
Building on the fan-fave theme, Jordan is set to debut its Air Jordan 1 “Palomino” later this year. Going by the JD Sports' product imagery, we can see that the “Palomino” colourway will feature a black leather base, with light brown suede panels taking over the toebox, heel, Swoosh and ankle flaps. The pair will then come finished with a sail-toned midsole unit (the only call back to the creamy-white tone seen on the “Dark Mocha”) and a brown outsole, which rounds off the colourway perfectly.
Now, joining the AJ1, an upcoming Air Jordan 3 has also surfaced in the same theme. Building on previous ‘Mocha” and “Neapolitan” variations, the “Palomino” AJ3 sees a cream-coloured upper come complemented with coffee-coloured hits on the elephant print panels, as well as tan-toned tongues and collars. The shade is a little lighter than that seen on the “Mocha” pair, but it's still a versatile, neutral option that’ll see you through season after season.
Set to top many a "must-cop" list, both pairs are expected to drop later this year, so be sure to stay locked to The Sole Supplier for more info and imagery as it comes in!
