At a time when "high-heat"; footwear seems to be more common than general releases, it's not surprising that gems like this manage to slip through the radar. That said, you'd be forgiven for completely missing this upcoming collection from Petra Collins.

Joining adidas for the first time, the Canadian born artist delivers a truly striking collection of womens footwear. Known simply as the adidas Sleek, the name goes someway to describing the effortlessly stylish designs.

The pack starts off with an understated shoe that celebrates the legacy of adidas's tennis footwear. But don't be fooled, this is unlike the more conventional Stan Smith.

It's more refined with ultra soft leather uppers and a raised midsole underfoot. But if you prefer something a little chunkier, then there's always the 'HyperSleek'

Raising you several inches of the ground, this silhouette is more of a statement than anything else. The high-fashion look is accentuated with a moulded midsole unit that tapers at the front.

The more colourful of the pack sit on icy outsoles but feature the same leather uppers. According to adidas, this is "an exploration in self expression"; - a movement that Petra Collins knows all too well. It's not difficult to see the similarities in her dreamlike photography and this eye-catching pack.
