As far as sneakers go, they don’t get much more iconic than the Nike Air Force 1. First introduced all the way back in 1982 by none other than Bruce Kilgore, the legendary silhouette has been favoured by millions of sneakerheads over the years and continues to prove popular with the general public. Now celebrating its 40th anniversary, the sneaker looks better than ever before in these two limited-edition colourways that the Swoosh brand has just dropped.
First up, the kicks can be seen in a neat monochromatic colourway that lets the design do all the talking, with the pair crafted from crisp white leather. Black details include a classic Swoosh logo that’s also accompanied by a mini-Swoosh, as well as custom tongue branding that points to the special-edition nature of this release.
Next up is the suitably clean “Sail Malachite” option, that opts for a slightly off-white base layer with pine green details for an eye-catching combination. Premium features include 1982-2022 branding on the midsoles, mini-Swoosh logos and also gold-tone metal hardware. Both of these kicks sit on top of the legendary full-length Air midsole that the AF1 is famed for.
