An Exclusive On Foot Look At Nike's Air Max 97 "Desert Sand"

Formerly thought to be a golden sneaker via Nike when images first emerged, this Air Max 97 "Desert Sand"; has turned out even more chic than imagined.

While the images on their website looked a whole lot more golden, what we received was much different. A champagne coloured Air Max 97 arrived, featuring an all over hue with a golden base and light yellow detailing to the sidewalls.

This soft hue is delicate and understated yet there's definitely something magnetic about it. If you were looking for a silhouette with a soft, feminine aesthetic, then this Air Max 97 should be in your sights.

Covered in a champagne hue, with the signature AM97 waves shining through the tonal colourway. A flash of pale yellow can be seen towards the lower half of the upper, in a breathable mesh material. This material features an embroidered mini Swoosh, matching the material of the upper.

The iconic full length Air unit sits underfoot, wrapped in a crisp white midsole with a golden-hued outsole. These sneakers will be giving you a comfortable ride all day with their padded inner and lightweight Air cushioning.
