Following yesterday's teaser, Jerry Lorenzo has now officially unveiled the Fear Of God x Nike Spring Summer 2019 collection. Inspired by his love for basketball, the range tells the story of "small town dreams";, showing the humble beginnings of a (now) famous sports star, and how they started from nothing, slowly grinding their way to the top.
Like pretty much all of Lorenzo's pieces, the SS19 collection flawlessly fuses sportswear and streetwear. Building on his ever-growing Nike range, he has added the brand new Nike Fear of God Moc and Nike Fear of God 180 sneaker models. The former takes on the shape of a moccasin, with an upper crafted from ripstop fabric. The latter, on the other hand, pays homage to the Nike Air Raid from 1992, complete with the iconic "X"; forefoot straps that secure the foot in place.
In addition to this, two spring-ready Nike Air Fear Of God 1 colourways will also be making a debut, one in 'Mind Green' and the other in 'Total Orange'. These sneakers will drop alongside a full apparel range that includes T-shirts, sweatpants, and much, much more.
The Fear Of God x Nike Spring Summer 2019 collection is set to hit shelves on April 27th. Let us know what you think of the new pack, and tell us what pieces you'll be copping! While you're here, be sure to take a look at the full Nike sneaker range!
