It's hard to believe, but next year will mark 40 years since the inception of Bruce Kilgore's famous Air Force 1 - the shoe that trumps all other shoes. Lucky for us though, this means that the Swoosh Brand will be celebrating the occasion with a wide range of AF-1 releases, so we've got plenty to look forward to next year!
Kicking off the party is the Nike Air Force 1 Low Satin Blush, a pretty-in-pink iteration that's set to turn heads and get you feeling light on your feet with ballet-inspired ribbons tying up the sneaker from top to toe.
Starting off on the crisp-white midsole, this AF1s bring plenty of bounce, as well as the addition of some neon accents across the Air Force 1 branding and inner lining. Moving to the upper, the Swooshes are constructed from smooth leather in a pleasing pale pink, whilst the toe cap and other overlays on the heel and sidewalls are formed from a more flexible tumbled leather.
Mixing it up from the usual AF1 silhouette, the toe box doesn't host any perforations, but comes in a canvas-like material that houses additional Nike branding (the word Nike is printed over and over again). This is reflected on the mid-panel under the aforementioned Swooshes. A branding label on the top of the tongue matches the accents below, and the whole sneaker is tied together with ribbon-like laces, instead of what we are used to seeing. This makes for a girly and enjoyable sneaker experience that really makes the most of the low-top style.
We don't yet have a release date for the Nike Air Force 1 Low Satin Blush, but keep it locked to The Sole Supplier as we'll be the first to let you know when you can cop. Click the links to turn on your release reminders right here!
