Sports company PUMA has teamed up with the BA Fashion course at London-based design school Central Saint Martins to explore more sustainable technologies in textile manufacturing, the results of which can be seen in the new “Day Zero” collection.
We take a closer look at the recently dropped PUMA Rider 'Day Zero', that's just landed on the scene with completely bold styling. Taking on definite Off-White vibes, the sneaker comes with the classic puma aesthetic, a mesh and leather upper with an exaggerated foam midsole below foot.
The silhouette shows off grey hues on the upper with textured mesh, leather Formstrips to the sidewalls and a bungee style rope over the entire upper, spanning from one side to the next in a zig-zag pattern, similar to the Off-White Waffle Racers from 2019.
Underfoot, a blue foam contrasts against the rest of the silhouette, working well with the neon green bungee and alongside a further neon green stabilising block near the heel. Completed with a bright red, super-grippy outsole with further mountaineer vibes, so you can really make an impact this season.
The PUMA Rider Day Zero is available right now and ready to slip straight into your rotation, head to the links on this page to secure your pair today! Don't forget to tag The Sole Supplier on Instagram for your chance to get featured on our page!
