Get ready for everyone to be hyped over the Air Trainer 1 again. Earlier this year, Travis Scott was spotted rocking the never-before-seen Travis Scott x Nike Air Trainer 1 "Cactus Jack" while gallivanting around New York City. While everyone was a little skeptical about the shoe, these up-close shots are definitely turning our heads in a good way.
Designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield back in 1987, the Air Trainer 1 was pretty popular back in the day but it doesn't get as much love these days. Travis' take on the iconic Nike shoe is dipped in his signature earthy brown colour palette. Seen here at the Cactus Jack Foundation's Celebrity Softball Game, the shoe is crafted from premium corduroy and perforated leather that kind of gives off a baseball glove vibe. Soft pink accents descend upon the top eyelets and "Cactus Corporation" branding at the heel - a logo that can also be found across the rubber strap at the vamp.
Down below, you'll find a durable gum rubber outsole that has been fitted with studs for this particular softball game, and of course, you can't talk about La Flame's next collaboration without mentioning the backwards Swoosh on the medial side that is reminiscent of what you'd find on the Air Jordan 1 High "Dark Mocha" from 2019.
While we're not entirely sure if this colourway will be exclusive to Scott's inner circle, we know for a fact that the Travis Scott x Nike Air Trainer 1 will land in three other shades including "Coriander", "Dark Smoke Grey", and "Light Smoke Grey". Let us know if this partnership has changed your mind of the Trainer 1, and in related news, Kylie Jenner recently teased the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low "Reverse Mocha"!
