After being spotted on the feet of Stormi earlier this season, Kylie Jenner has now taken to Instagram Story to tease the adult version of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low "Reverse Mocha", and to be honest, it's so much better in-hand than we previously thought. With a few subtle tweaks here and there compared to the GS pair, let's get up close and personal with La Flame's next Swoosh shoe!
An inverted take on 2019's "Dark Mocha", this Air Jordan 1 Low looks like it works on top of an earthy brown suede base while crisp white leather panels wrap around the toebox, heel, and lacing system. Unlike Stormi's grade school pair, the backwards Swoosh is dipped in all-black. While it may seem a little odd that both pairs are slightly different, Travis did the same thing last year with the Air Max 270 React ENG "Cactus Trails". If you can cast your mind back to 2020, the toddler's pair actually had a Swoosh already on the lateral and medial side panels.
Down below, you'll find an off-white Nike Air midsole that offers up a vintage vibe, and around the back, the Cactus Jack emoji and winged basketball insignias are both stitched at the left and right heel, respectively. Of course, you can't talk about this Air Jordan 1 without mentioning the bold red laces. While this pair will come with a conventional pair of white ones, it looks like the Houston-born rapper will be switching things up with a contrasting red set too.
An official release date has yet to be confirmed, but according to our sources, the Travis Scott x Nike Air Jordan 1 Low "Reverse Mocha" will land on Spring or Summer 2022 and will most likely drop alongside another colourway. Let us know if you prefer this one to the OG, and while you're here, here's every single Travis Scott x Nike that we know is in the works!
