Let's face it, who doesn't love a KAWS collaboration? Sitting among some of the most coveted sneaker silhouettes of all time, Brian Donnelly (KAWS) and Nike have joined forces once again to reimagine the iconic AF1 silhouette, this time all for a great cause.
Enabled by Dover Street Market, KAWS and Nike will now work together to benefit Sky High Farm Workwear, an offshoot of the Sky High Farm universe that tackles the food insecurity of underprivileged communities. For the collaboration, the Air Force 1 has been reimaged through KAWS' distinctive lens. Atop the regular "Triple Black," and "Triple White" renditions, we see the Swoosh on the lateral and medial walls take on a cloud-like finish in a grey hue.
In addition to these two colourways, we also see a range of apparel, including a KAWS-designed chore coat, hoodie and more. Proceeds supporting Sky High Farm will invest in long-term solutions for food security.
The only downside behind this collaboration is it's looking to be a US exclusive. For those lucky enough to be US-based, the project will be released in-store at DSMNY and online via skyhighfarm.org on December 16th. Raffles are now open, so make sure to support a great cause! In other news, the Rayssa Leal x Nike SB Dunk ushers in a new era of skate style.
