When Teddy Santis took the helm as Creative Director over at New Balance back in April 2021 plenty of sneakerheads were excited to see what the Aimé Leon Dore head-honcho would be cooking up, and now the time has finally come. This morning saw New Balance unveil its full 2022 Made in the USA collection, with the stand-out piece being the New Balance 990v3 Made in USA “Marblehead”. Showcasing a mature and refined take on design, these will no doubt appeal to fashion fans as much as they will sneakerheads. Premium grey suede adorns the uppers along with off-white canvas sections, creating a clean two-tone look.
Branding comes in the form of New Balance’s classic N logo on either side as well as red typeface logos on the tongues and the classic 990 motif. This all sits on top of an Encap midsole that makes the 990 one of the most comfortable silhouettes on the market. If you’re looking to get your hands on this upcoming release then stay right here, as we’ll be sharing more details as soon as we have them.
