Last summer, The Sole Supplier unveiled that the Off-White x Nike Blazer Low "Black" was in the works. While the mock-ups aren't too dissimilar to the final pair, there are a few pretty interesting elements that are definitely worth discussing. Unveiled by reputable sneaker insider @woganwodeyang, let's take a sneak peek at the upcoming collaboration from Virgil Abloh!
Featuring a premium leather upper construction, holes make their way throughout for a look that's reminiscent to the Off-White x Air Jordan 5 "Black". Fabric mudguards add depth to the Blazer Low design, while the two lacing systems are borrowed straight from the Off-White x Nike Dunk that we all know and love.
Of course, it wouldn't be an Off-White release without the deconstructed elements that make their way throughout. From the quoted text along the laces to the exposed foam tongue, the Milan-based brand has gone all out for this legendary Nike silhouette. Placing your focus down below, you'll find a stealthy black midsole that starts off simple at the front, but as soon as you go around the heel you'll find a blue and green two-piece cushioning system that bears a striking resemblance to the ACG Terra Humara, complete with the orange speckling.
Expected to drop sometime at the end of 2021 or the beginning of 2022, the Off-White x Nike Blazer Low "Black" is pretty crazy to say the least. Let us know what you think of this upcoming collaboration, and in related news, the Off-White x Air Jordan 2 Low has been delayed!
