Berlin-based skate shop Civilist and Nike are set to team up once again for another heat-mapped sneaker, this time in the form of an Air Force 1 Low. When the original Dunk collab dropped it looked pretty simple, but it soon became clear that the style just needed a little warming up. Now, early images suggest that a Civilist x Nike Air Force 1 Low "Heat Map" could soon be following suit, so let’s take a closer look.
Although the leaks aren’t exactly clear, it’s looking like the "Heat Map" Civilist AF1 will follow cues from the Dunk, with an all-black upper taking over the shoe in its normal state. Another image of the pair shows the upper to have taken on shades of red, green, blue and yellow (the shades of the temperature spectrum) suggesting that the Civilist AF1 will also change state when exposed to heat. White stitching adds an extra point of detail, and the shoes are finished with lateral and medial side Swooshes and Civilist’s smiley logo at the tongue.
Right now, it’s unclear if the “Heat Map” Civilist x Nike Air Force 1 Low is a sample or even a custom, but one thing is for sure – the pair will certainly be considered a ‘high heat’ release if they do drop.
