Whilst Drizzy’s NOCTA Hot Step Air Terra is all systems go for a March release, it was recently reported that the NOCTA x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Certified Loverboy” may have been cancelled due to production issues. The AF-1, which had been long-awaited by fans, featured a number of new details that eventually slowed down the production, but Nike are yet to confirm or deny whether there will still be a limited run of the sneakers set for release later this year. In the meantime, images of an early pair have hit the net courtesy of sneaker insider, zsneakerheadz, so let’s take what could be our closest look ever at the NOCTA AF1.
Originally planned to drop alongside Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy” album (you’ll remember that there was a lot of merch floating around), the classic sneaker has received a few tweaks that celebrate the CLB theme. Coming in a “Triple White” colourway, the NOCTA Air Force 1 “CLB” comes constructed from premium tumbled leather, with the AF’s toe box perforations arriving in the shape of hearts. Elsewhere, the usual “AIR” markings on the midsole have been swapped for cursive text that reads “Love You Forever,” and the insoles have been replaced with co-branded NOCTA versions.
As mentioned, we’ll have to wait a little longer to find out if the “Certified Lover Boy” NOCTA x Nike Air Force 1s will drop, but until then be sure to download our app and keep it locked for more info as it comes in, as we’ll be the first to let you know!
Up next, here's an official look at Drake's Hot Step Air Terra.
