Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 550 "Conversations Amongst Us"
Chloe Thomas - Social Media Executive The Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 550 “Conversations Amongst Us” is easily the next pair on my hit list. For starters, it’s just a super clean colourway and will work so well with my existing wardrobe. The canvas fabric across the uppers also gives this pair a totally different flavour compared to other New Balance 550s I’ve seen, along with a vintage look which I’m also totally here for. I really wanted both the Rich Paul and Auralee 550s too but I took an L on both of those releases, so copping these would be a more than suitable alternative! The 9060 that’s also launching alongside these is really nice too, it’s great to have designers working on lesser-seen silhouettes.
Skate Like a Girl x Nike SB Dunk Low Red White
Skate Like a Girl x Nike SB Dunk Low
Jack Strong - Content Writer If you know me you’ll already know that I’m a big fan of Nike SB - I actually used to teach skateboarding for a job believe it or not. I’ve been slowly but surely building up my SB Dunk collection and the Skate Like a Girl x Nike SB Dunk Low is most definitely my next cop. First off I want to point out that the colour blocking is absolutely on point, I’m a huge fan of the berry-red hues and habanero red details. The quilted-velvet lining is also a nice touch, however it’s the special-edition branding that really makes the pair for me. The handshake embroidery on the heels is spot-on, and as a big fan of traditional tattoo imagery I’ve just got to get my hands on these!
Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid White
Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid "White"
Craig Freestone - Social Media Executive Let me start this off by saying I’m an absolute sucker for anything hyped. If it’s Off-White or Travis Scott, chances are I’m trying to cop it. So the pair I’m really after next is the upcoming Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid “White” . I think they’re a super-clean summer pair and seeing as they are the first OW collaboration to use the AF1 Mid as the blank canvas, I feel like they have the potential to become a future classic. I have to admit that I’m not 100% sure on the multicoloured running spikes that feature on these kicks, but I’m willing to wait to see what they look like in-hand before I make my mind up!
JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 Brown Black
JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 "Brown"
Jack Aldrich - Content Writer I’m having to be really careful with my pickups lately, I’ve got far too many sneakers in my collection to be copping aimlessly, so each pair I buy has to be well-thought-out and justified. For my next cop I’m looking to get my hands on the JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 “Brown” . I’m quite new to the New Balance game, having only copped my first pair last year, so it would be great to throw another pair into my rotation. The 990v3 is an absolute classic and with a colourway as versatile as this one I’m sure these will garner plenty of wear. The fact that these are a JJJJound collaboration is also a bonus to me, but they’re so clean that I’d definitely still be after these even if they were a GR pair!
Air Jordan 4 Retro Military Black
Air Jordan 4 "Military Black"
Pedrom Pourkashanian - Head of Acquistion I’ve recently been expanding my sneaker collection by purchasing more silhouettes that I wouldn’t typically buy before, with one of my new favourites being the AJ4. While I always thought that they were too chunky to rock with my outfits, I recently bought a pair and proved myself totally wrong - in fact I was impressed with how easy they were to pull off! So I’m definitely looking to grab the upcoming Air Jordan 4 “Military Black” . They’re a refined take on a classic design and you simply cannot go wrong with the colourway. From all the images I’ve seen so far they also look super premium, so fingers crossed I’ll be rocking these all summer long!
Yeezy Boost 350 Turtle Dove
Yeezy Boost 350 "Turtle Dove"
Georgie Gilbert - Content Writer Let’s get this straight - I’m not fully certain I’d still rock these in 2022, but for old times sake I’m absolutely going to try and cop the re-release of the Yeezy Boost 350 “Turtle Dove” . I’ve been into sneakers long enough to remember how much of a big deal these were when they first launched, and I’m also a huge Kanye fan, so I feel like I really need these just to have in my collection. I feel like we absolutely shouldn't overlook how revolutionary the design of this pair was back in the day too, they practically set the standard for modern-day footwear designs and are easily the most faked shoe of all time, which just goes to show how iconic they really are.
sacai x Nike Cortez 4.0 White Red
sacai x Nike Cortez "White Red"
Adam Cheung - Editor-in-Chief Anyone who's read Phil Knight's 'Shoe Dog' will understand how significant the Nike Cortez was, and still is, to the sneaker culture. 2022 marks the silhouette's whopping 50th anniversary, and to celebrate this, Nike has teamed up with long-time collaborator Chitose Abe for the sacai x Nike Cortez “White Red” . For five decades, the overall design of the Cortez has remained pretty much the same, but the Beaverton brand has given the esteemed Japanese fashion designer the opportunity to deconstruct it to her heart's content - and the result is breathtaking. Effortlessly combining the Cortez's classic aesthetic with Abe's contemporary vibe, and what you're left with is an art piece that we'll still be talking about in another 50 years.
