At this point, we wouldn't even be surprised if a Nike x IKEA collaboration was in the works. Following the scenes at Paris Fashion Week where the Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 collection was officially unveiled, literally anything can happen over at the Swoosh's partnership department. With that said, sneaker art page @shoobox_ has taken it one step further with a series of mock-ups that show what would happen if the Beaverton footwear brand teamed up with the Swedish furniture giant.
Aptly dubbed "Nikea", the concept collection features the Nike's legendary logo in IKEA's signature colour palette of blue and yellow. The mock-ups feature a wide array of hyped sneakers including the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 "Chicago" and the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 "Dark Mocha". These are all displayed in typical IKEA fashion with a grid-patterned background for a DIY-inspired look. Dimensions can also be found across so you can accurately figure out if these will fit in your space.
@shoobox_ has also done up a few images for specific silhouettes including the Air Force 1 and the Dunk Low. These are shown in a slightly different format but it still screams all-things IKEA.
Obviously, the Nike x IKEA "Nikea" collab is just a concept for now, but it's still pretty cool to see. Let us know if you'd like to see this team up become reality, and in related news, the BTS x McDonald’s x Nike TN Air Max Plus “McNugget Meal” is smooth like butter!
