Hiroshi Fujiwara Teases the Return of the fragment design x Nike Dunk High "City Pack"
The Dunk Low walked in 2020 so the Dunk High could run in 2021. After a pretty big year with his Air Jordan 3 collaboration, it looks like Hiroshi Fujiwara is about to shift his focus to the Dunk this year as he teases the return of the legendary fragment design x Nike Dunk High "City Pack".
Showcased via a black and white image, while it's not that clear from the outset that this is the iconic collection, reputable sneaker insider @py_rates is sure of it. With two-tone mismatched uppers, the range features three shoes that are inspired by Beijing, New York City, and London. The first pair features a regal purple and black palette, the second arrives in red and blue hues as a nod to the US flag, while the third and final one takes direct influence from the "Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols" album from 1977 which Fujiwara is a big fan of.
A Nike Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side walls of each sneaker, and of course, the legendary lightning bolt logo is finely debossed onto the ankle. The only real difference between these and the OG from 2010 is the technical verbiage along the midsole that includes "FA21", possibly hinting that the collab could indeed be dropping at the end of this year.
At this moment in time, pretty much nothing else is known about the fragment design x Nike Dunk High "City Pack", though as we mentioned before it could drop at the end of 2021.
