After months of rumours and speculation, you can now finally get your hands on the official Pokémon x LEGO Sets. To mark 30 years of Pokémon magic, the franchise is rolling out a year-long celebration packed with collabs, and LEGO has just kicked things off in style.
First imagined and mocked-up by The Sole Supplier in September, over 42,000 of you liked the post and wanted to get your hands on the pieces - Now is time to explore what dropped.
Let’s start with the showstopper: a colossal 6,838-piece set starring the original trio: Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. Definitely not a quick afternoon project, these iconic figures stand tall at 23cm, 20cm, and 18cm - They're huge and we love that LEGO have gone all out with these. It’s a serious collector’s piece and a proper labour of love for any Pokémon collector willing to take on the challenge.
Each figure can stand solo, but things really come to life when you mount them on the included display stand. The display becomes a full-on battleground featuring beach, jungle and volcano. It pays homage to their elemental types, and turns the set into a scene straight out of your childhood bedroom.
Definitely the most iconic of the collection, this 2,050-piece Pikachu build is one we'll be looking to add to The Sole Supplier HQ's LEGO collection.
With black-tipped ears, rosy red cheeks and a customisable tail (yep, you can switch between male or female versions - really cool), it’s packed with some little details that fans will clock straight away. Lightning bolt sparks bring that Electric-type energy, while a subtle “25” on the base nods to Pikachu’s original Pokédex number.
Hands down the cutest piece of the collection, the Eevee is another standout for us. With 587 pieces and a £54.99 price tag, it’s the most accessible of the collection. Perfect for smaller spaces (and shorter attention spans), it’s a much quicker build that still brings the satisfaction of completing a Lego set.
All pieces (including a free gift with purchase) are available to shop now at LEGO., with the full range available to shop here.
