What has been your favourite sneaker release of the year?

I'm so bad at choosing a favourite because I just love shoes so much, but one that really stood out to me this year were the sacai x Nike LDWaffles, I also really found myself being drawn towards the Air Force 1 Para-Noise and in love with the artwork (yes, it's a piece of art in my opinion!) that G-Dragon created with Nike.

The Melody Ehsani Air Jordan 1 Mid was also an amazing pair that I unfortunately wasn't able to cop, but it's just amazing to see more women getting the opportunity to create sneakers.

Do you think the female sneaker culture has changed at all this year and why?

In many ways, yes. More female collabs have been coming out and female sneakerheads are getting more attention and recognition within the community. We are still not where I would want us to be at all, but I believe it's going in the right direction.

What has been your favourite collaboration from 2019 and why?

Honestly there's been so many collabs in 2019 that I don't even know where to start, but I'll list some of my faves…

Are there any sneakers you'd love to see hitting the stores in 2020?

I'd love seeing more patent sneakers hitting the stores in 2020, especially patent Air Force 1's.

What's the one pair of sneakers you always wanted but have never secured?

The fragment x Air Jordan 1's, such a clean pair. But with the price tag that comes along with them it's probably never going to happen to be honest haha!

What is a pair of sneakers you think everyone needs in their rotation?

A classic white (or black) Nike Air Force 1 low or an OG colourway of the Air Jordan 1.
