In True Levi's Fashion, Denim Dresses the Upcoming New Balance 990v3

A collaboration between Levi's and New Balance always makes sense. With New Balance making waves in the sneaker industry now more than ever before, it's fitting that the Boston-based brand should partner up with one of the biggest clothing companies of all time. Dressing one of the most iconic silhouettes NB have produced, the 990, the latest Levi's pack includes "Indigo" and "Grey" iterations that make use Levis' 'Shrink-To-Fit' denim across the upper.

On the "Indigo" style, a mixture of fuzzy material in a teal colour and a darker, smoother suede add detailing to the denim body, whilst the large 'N' logo on the medial and lateral sidewalls remains true to the 990 silhouette. A creamy colour outlines the branding, making sure to stand out against the dark backdrop, and a Levi's label matches to this, sticking out of the italic lettering. There's a certain vintage-hue to this sneaker that is so in season right now, so we're not surprised to see the midsole and lace unit also donning these off-white tones.

On the "Grey" version of this 990v3 all the same features remain, but all in differing shades of grey. New Balance branding can be found on the heel of the sneaker as well as on the rear section of the upper. As well as style, comfort is guaranteed, as you know you're going to be fit to walk thousands of steps in the 990 thanks to the bouncy ABZORB midsole.

This collaboration between Levi's and NB is a pair of extremely coveted releases, meaning you're going to have to be quick to get your hands on them. Coming in at £230, they're a little pricey compared to some 990v3 models, but you know that they are constructed to the highest standard and are of the most premium quality.
