An Instagram feed you need to be following

Different styles and aesthetics are crucial in the world of sneakers, we love to admire anything from street, to smart, to cute… This particular fashion focussed Instagram is full of the hottest sneakers, perfectly composed photos and lots of pink. Natalia Infantes is doing the Instagram game right. We caught up with Natalia recently to ask all about how she produces her content, what inspires her street style and her work with Glamour Spain.

So tell us a little about yourself…
My name is Natalia (@natalia__infantes). I'm 32 years old and right now I'm involved in the opening of my new hair salon which you'll soon see on my Instagram.
How did you get into sneakers and street style?
My main job has always been hairdressing. I started to become involved in the sneaker world because of my husband Antonio Thiery (@antonio.thiery). He had already been involved in the sneaker scene for years. Antonio was always talking to me about the latest trends, introducing me to the newest models and releases. Being surrounded by all of this got me very interested in women's sneakers. Now I can't resist them!!!
How did you get into creating content with your husband? Do you enjoy it?
We started taking pictures of the sneakers we were buying and posting them online. Sometimes we were given vintage pairs from friends, sneakers that we didn't have the chance to buy. We love doing this together, going out and searching for locations and outfits or just shooting pictures. Nothing's better than having each other to do this with!

Where about in Spain are you from, what is the sneaker scene like there?
I'm from a small town located in the west of Spain called Badajoz (Extremadura), a city known for on of the best delicatessen food in the world, “Ibérico Ham”, and its own beautiful landscapes. I have been living in Madrid for the last 12 years. I always return to my home town to disconnect, it's the best place to unwind.
The girls sneaker scene in Madrid is getting better, a few years ago you could only see them on guys, but now my main references are girls from cities like London or Paris.
Tell us about Glamour Spain and how you got involved with them?
Glamour.es become interested in me because they liked my Instagram profile, so pink and cute. They also liked the quality of the pictures. They contacted me for an interview, I talked about my sneaker passion and they asked about all of the details about my pictures etc. I was so excited that they contacted me, because they don't usually cover stories about sneakers. They liked my interview and the response it got so much that decided they were take us on as part of a new adventure, working for them and talking about new trends and girls sneakers.
What influences your style?
My style its quite influenced by girls from abroad, I think they have very cool fashion taste. I might have a sweet and cute look on my Instagram but I actually prefer a tougher look on me, I quite like wearing black and that its the opposite that my image on Instagram. I'm actually trying to stop wearing black so much but it's taking me a while (even though I love pink which has become my favourite colour!).

Do you think Instagram plays a big part in your streetwear and style?
Yes, I definitely think Instagram has an effect to my daily life but I think, a bit like everyone else, you always end up thinking about the picture you're gonna upload next. I always see people's posts and get inspired by them… At the end of the day there are millions of users and you get to see lots of great styles.
What are your top 5 sneakers and why?
Nike Tn Plus – A classic, I love all of the different colours that Nike release and the older models drive me crazy.
Nike Air Max 97 – no doubt almost my number one, I love it.
Adidas EQT âPinkâ – very light sneaker, baby pink and perfect shape.
