So say you've just spotted your holy grail pair of Nike Dunks on Klekt and you're ready to cop, before you rush into things make sure you check out this next section where we detail the buying process from start to finish!
Klekt implements a pretty simple four-step process from selection to receiving your item. Once you've found an item in your desired, size, condition and price you can go ahead and click the "buy it now" button on the listing. From this point, you will be prompted to input your login details to ensure you're signed in to an authenticated account. It will then be up to you to input the relevant card details alongside your delivery address and any other additional information.
Once your payment has been received by Klekt, the seller will receive an email confirming that their item has been purchased and it is now time to send the piece to Klekt's warehouse for verification.
Once the seller's item arrives at the Klekt warehouse it will undergo a strict verification process. According to Klekt's website, it states "Once we obtain the item from the Seller our professional authentication team will personally inspect the item within 3 working days." It is during this time in which each item (including its packaging) will be inspected for legitimacy. These legit checks include a physical inspection of the item's construction, materials and visual appearance by a crew of trained authenticators. If for some reason the seller's item is deemed fake or does not pass the inspection, you as the buyer will receive a full refund of the purchase price usually within 3 days.
If your item is given the thumbs up during the legit check, it will then become Klekt's responsibility to ship it directly to you in a safe manner. Klekt will aim to ship the item out around 1 day after the completion of the legit check meaning the average time for an order to arrive at the buyer's house is usually between 7-12 days total.
While most items will arrive legitimate and without a hitch, if you suspect your item is fake or are dissatisfied for some reason, you can contact Klekt directly at support@klekt.com. It is worth noting that according to Klekt's website, the group will not accept responsibility for factory flaws stating "Factory flaws occur at a point in the manufacturing process meaning that we are not liable for any flaws. As a secondary marketplace, we have no control over the production of any item that we sell, nor the brands quality control. We will alert you if a factory flaw has a detrimental effect on your item e.g loose stitching, midsole discolouration, but for general QC flaws we are not responsible."
The website will also not accept responsibility for incorrect storing, stating "Sometimes items can be stored incorrectly or arrive to us with slight marks on them. These marks may occur during storage, for example, the mesh may have yellowed or transported to us badly e.g. the outer box is too big for the shoe box. We will always alert you of such marks but we are not responsible to issue a refund as this is something that is out of our control."
