Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past couple of months, you’ll likely have noticed that New Balance is absolutely dominating the sneaker scene right now. Not only have we seen some seriously strong GRs come out of the Boston-based brand’s efforts, but Teddy Santis’ Made in USA collection has been pretty spot-on, too. On top of all that, however, is the brand’s impressive run of collaborations – including those with Joe Freshgoods, who is now set to take the lead once again for an upcoming autumn/winter collection.
The Chicago native took to Instagram to tease the upcoming Joe Freshgoods x New Balance FW22 collaboration. To coincide with the cooler temperatures, this collection will include thick rugby-style shirts and cosy tracksuits, which will arrive in a palette of wardrobe-friendly shades of navy, green and cream. Looking closely at the leaked images, eagle-eyed New Balance fans will also be able to spot the toe boxes of what could be two collaborative 993s – one in muted grey tones and the other in pink.
The Instagram post also teased a new shoe box design, which comes printed with the words ‘performance art’ underneath the lid. This will likely allude to the capsule’s storytelling – something JFG does exceptionally well.
Right now, collection details are scarce, with only these teaser images available at this time. However, be sure to keep it locked to The Sole Supplier as more details emerge, as we’ll be the first to update you when we hear more.
Up next, two new New Balance Protection Pack colourways are on the way.
